The literalness of film: field and counterfield of the desire in La Morte in Venetzia
Juan Camilo Aljuri studied in the Universidad de los Andes, (Bogotá, Colombia), where he received his BA and Master degrees in History. He worked in the relationships between cinema and history. He taught for a short period of time, and then he was involved with the Ministerio de Educación Nacional (Ministry of Education of Colombia), where he currently works.
Now, denying the rigidity of his profession, he writes in his blog Pan y cines. In the blog, he tries to demonstrate the multiple possibilities of interpretation and writing that the film offers to the non specialized public, under the premise that film is too important to be left to the critics (and social scientists).
